How this works

This app does not read your handwriting automatically — no OCR, no auto-scan. You type in your moves while looking at your own photo, and we check every move against the rules of chess so you can't go wrong.
If a move you type or tap isn't legal, we show you the legal moves that look closest to it — usually that means you misread your own handwriting, and this catches it.
We don't run any chess engine or analysis here — export your PGN and hand it to Lichess or Chess.com for that.
Your photos and games stay on this device. Nothing is uploaded unless you tap "Analyse on Lichess" yourself.
That also means there's no cloud backup. If you clear your browser's site data, uninstall the app, or switch phones, your saved games are gone for good. Download or copy the PGN for any game you want to keep safe elsewhere.
